“Doing the necessary things is not always easy, but it’s always manageable – for everyone.”
I found how this book was written to be clever and engaging. Each chapter begins with a short anecdote that will be further examined within the chapter, and each chapter ends with a realistic list of exercises to help put into action what was discussed.
The writing is open and conversational, but there is a strong undertone of holding yourself accountable. I found that well done and true.
I liked that the segments within each chapter were short but thorough. There is no rambling or dragging out the point. Keeping the ideas concise is the point, and it is well executed throughout.
I enjoyed the many examples throughout this book; they helped put ideas into perspective and deepen the understanding. The points were made clear, and you feel your motivation revving up with each chapter you complete.
I liked how positive the book was. The motivation and good energy were palpable. I enjoyed how finding your purpose could be achieved, as well as putting your plan together.
This book breaks the big scary thing down into manageable pieces and gives you a solid foundation to go on and start checking things off your list.
I found the relaxed way topics were discussed welcoming, and I liked that no matter your purpose, this book has something for you and a plan that can help point you in the right direction if you are willing to do the leg work.
Overall, I found the honesty within this book endearing. This is not a one-stop shop for fixing or cha going your life. This is simply a tool to put in your belt that can help you change your life.
