I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily. Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love. A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye for exciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold, unapologetic love for love itself.

Romy is busy, being a defense attorney with bigger ambitions doesn’t leave much free time. When a murder case is dropped in her lap, the last thing Romy expects is to find love among the facts.
I liked the legal aspect of this book and how strongly Romy embraced who she is. The romance in this book comes in suddenly, but the flow is well done.
I liked Romy; she was intelligent, passionate, and had a qualified confidence. I enjoyed the roughness Leon brought to the story and that he was well-suited to be Romy’s equal.
I am enjoying the whole storyline of this series while still connecting back to the prequel to keep the group linked. I look forward to reading about the next Frog Prince.
