I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Zoe Adams is an audacious author exploring the layered ups and downs of love.A passionate writer, she draws her inspiration from a variety of sources. Her admiration for romance books, her understanding of human character, and her observing eye forexciting scenarios are a few of them. But above all, her greatest writing gift is her bold, unapologetic love for love itself.

Piper
Guys like Theo have no respect for women, and that explains why different angry ladies keep trooping out of his house every month. He certainly can’t keep them. Personally, I would want nothing to do with Theo, especially with the way he carries himself around like he’s the next best thing after Santa Claus. Now, I’m stuck with him for days because those stupid bugs chose the perfect time to take over my room.

Theo
Piper is such a gorgeous and quiet lady. I love those pencil skirts of hers the most, but somehow, I’ve never really been able to get a hold of her because of the high walls she has built around herself. But hey, it’s my lucky Christmas, isn’t it? Piper is crashing at mine for a couple of days and I will prove to her I’m not as bad as she thinks I am.

“Baby, for me, you’re a forever kind of girl.”

Piper has a steady routine, and she is pretty content. When a bug infestation sends her into the home of her attractive neighbor, the last thing she expects was him to fall for her.

I loved Piper! She gave me Tasha vibes with the art educator job. I enjoyed this novella; it was super sweet.

This was slightly more on the spicy Zoe side, but there was still a focus on character development (which I love) and plot.

Theo was the best leading man for this story. He balanced the story well and was a fantastic opposite personality of Piper.

It is impressive how Zoe can tell a complete story in such a neat little novella.
