TB Markinson is an American who’s recently returned to the US after a seven-year stint in the UK and Ireland. When she isn’t writing, she’s traveling the world, watching sports on the telly, visiting pubs in New England, or reading. Not necessarily in that order. Her novels have hit Amazon’s bestseller lists for lesbian fiction and lesbian romance. She co-hosts the Lesbians Who Write Podcast (lesbianswhowrite.com) with Clare Lydon. TB also runs I Heart Lesfic (iheartlesfic.com), a place for authors and fans of lesfic to come together to celebrate lesbian fiction.

Tell that to her matchmaking British friend who sets Rory up on a coffee date on her first full day in the new country.
Imogen Wright doesn’t want any more complications in her life. The only thing she’s considering committing to is adopting a dog.
Their blind date starts off disastrous, but there might be more than meets the eye.
Will the two headstrong women continue to clash, or will they see what’s so obvious to their matchmaking friend?
“Oh good, you two have met.”
Rory has just accepted a two-year contract to work in her company’s London office. Luckily, she has a friend, Jane, in London. But that friend has an ulterior motive. Imogen lives in London and knows Jane and has just been thrust upon Rory.
This was such a sweet story. I would have loved for it to have been longer! This was such an easy listen, with charm, romance, spice, and adventure.
I loved the characters. Rory was a bold American in London for the first time. She had a list of things she wanted to do, and nothing would stop her.
Imogen lives in London and isn’t looking for any complications. She has a demanding family and wants to enjoy her time and possibly rescue a dog.
The last thing either is expecting is connecting and falling for a stranger. I loved the whirlwind aspect of this book. It was decadent and full force.
I loved the tour Imogen took Rory on; it felt like I also saw the sights. This was such a sweet story. Easy to listen to, filled with laughs and the type of love people long for.
