Evie Alexander is the author of sexy romantic comedies with a very British sense of humour. She takes a method approach to her work, believing her capacity to repeatedly fail at life and love is what has given her such a rich supply of material for her writing. Her interests include reading, eating, saving the world, and fantasising about people who only exist between the pages of her books.

Brace yourself Scotland, Hollywood’s coming…

Rory’s found the love of his life but can he be sure Zoe feels the same? What can he offer her when his job’s on the line, and his mother’s out to destroy her? When Hollywood superstar, Brad Bauer, shows up wanting to film Braveheart 2 at Kinloch castle, it seems like the answer to all his prayers. However, there’s a catch.

Zoe’s had a crush on Brad since she was a teen. Now he’s here, hotter than ever, and convinced he was married to her in a past life. As Hollywood descends on the tiny village of Kinloch, it’s not just the castle that’s under siege.

A mystical holy man, a sexy starlet, an intense megastar and a couple pushed to the edge. Can Rory navigate the glitter storm and keep his eye on the prize, or by saving the estate, is he about to lose the best thing that’s ever happened to him?

“Chasing the man of her dreams led to a living nightmare.”

When Hollywood heartthrob Brad Bauer decides he needs to film Braveheart 2, the last thing Zoe ever expected was him showing up and asking for her. As Hollywood descends on the castle, will Rory be able to handle the attention being lavished on Zoe? Will this help save his home? Or will the sexiest man alive (four times in a row) ruin everything?

I enjoyed this book. I loved seeing Rory and Zoe again, but I loved getting to know Sam better. And Barbara. And Jamie. The cast of characters was fantastic.

I loved the humor mixed with chaos and the steamy mixed with drama. The humor was so well placed. I liked that the story wasn’t centralized on Zoe and Rory, though they are a cute couple and have dynamite chemistry.

It was fantastic to meet other characters and see other relationships develop. I did miss having Basil be a focus, though!

I love that you could feel how badly Zoe wanted to help save the castle and keep Rory from needing to sell it off. Their connection is beautiful in all the best ways.

The steamy scenes were no joke! Very hot! Like ice-cold shower and thinking about ice cream hot. Their relationship and desire for each other was insatiable, and boy was that obvious.

I loved how the plot developed and how everything that had fallen apart ended up working out. The last chapter of this novel was so beautifully done, and the happiness radiated from the pages.

I can’t wait for the next book!
