“Everything is as it should be.”
Addison doesn’t remember anything beyond the past two years. As she is planning her wedding, most questions regarding her past start haunting her dreams. When a seemingly random gallery showcase leads to a man claiming he knows who Addison really is- things start to spiral. Can Addison figure out who she really is and find out what happened to make her forget everything?
Fast-paced and wildly intense, this book was impossible to put down. The characters were all well developed and memorable. Addison was portrayed in a very fair but also very vulnerable light. As a woman who is struggling with mental health issues and a past she can’t remember, there is a toughness to her that emotes hope.
The way the story is told is cleverly plotted. As the pieces start to fall into place, this story gets more and more bizarre. In the most unimaginable manner, the truth starts to come out; we see how depraved humans can be.
Lies, deception, and ulterior motives run wild in this terrifying story of survival.
