I purchased this book on Amazon.
Tara Sivec is a USA Today best-selling author, wife, mother, chauffeur, maid, short-order cook, baby-sitter, and sarcasm expert. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two children and looks forward to the day when all three of them become adults and move out.
“I just wanted you to burn.”
Finnley gave up her dreams for the man she thought she loved. But when the reality that their love wasn’t everlasting, Finnley knows it’s time to move forward. Until a blast from her past comes crashing back into her life seventeen years later. Will things finally work out in the way she always dreamed they would- or will Finnley get caught in the flames?
As much as I love Tara’s rom-com books, this was so incredibly powerful and beautiful and steamy that I’m almost speechless.
Finnley is such a real character, and she is so genuine and vulnerable that you just feel connected to her. Collin is so layered and strong that you just can’t help but fall a little in love with him.
This love story was seventeen years in the making, with many triumphs and failures along the way. Mistakes were made, hearts were broken, and life went on. The brutal reality packed into this novel was remarkable.
The characters were imperfect and genuine. The storyline was tragically beautiful. Tara brings the absolute best and worst of love together in this book. She highlights the good, bad and ugly.
This is by far the steamiest book I’ve read from Tara. She pulled out every damn stop. The intensity and the detail- Wowza. Tara, you good girl? Is it hot in here?
Everything about this book was top-notch.
