I purchased this book on Amazon.
Tara Sivec is a USA Today best-selling author, wife, mother, chauffeur, maid, short-order cook, baby-sitter, and sarcasm expert. She lives in Ohio with her husband and two children and looks forward to the day when all three of them become adults and move out.

“Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice . . . I don’t fucking think so.”
Lorelei has followed the rules her entire life. To the absolute letter, if at all possible. So she cherishes her ownership in the PI firm with her two best friends because that is so against ‘the rules’ but brings her so much happiness until she gets a case and a partner.
I did not want this series to end. I loved getting to know the badass Lorelei better with this book. She is so fierce, intelligent, sassy, and loyal. And as she continues figuring out who she is, a new aspect of her emerges: tough as balls PI.
The characters were fantastic. Such fantastic development and so much heart. I love how Tara writes her characters; they are all so well defined, even minor characters. And it is obvious that she puts so much effort into bringing her books to life.
The comedy is on point, well placed, and perfectly timed. The steamy scenes were well done. The plot was great, and the storyline moved along quickly. I thoroughly enjoyed this story, and this was such a great installment in the Fool Me Once series.
