I received a copy of this book for free, and I leave my review voluntarily.

Samantha Adair lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia, with her family and golden retriever. When she isn’t writing, she can be found in her favorite coffee nook reading a good book or nattering with friends.

“You know what they say… keep calm and carry on.”

Tom has no idea when Martha calls that someone is about to come crashing back into his life. And honestly, he couldn’t be happier. But when he discovers that she intends to return to the Motherland- he has some reservations. What is supposed to be a quick trip down memory lane turns into a disastrous adventure that quickly turns deadly… Tom realizes this may be the end of their story.

I enjoyed this book. It is fast-paced and impossible to put down. Tom is as witty as ever, and his temper has not improved. More determined than ever to protect those he loves, this book just further exposes Tom Grant for the hero he is.

The twists in this installment were intense. And there are so many unexpected revelations. When you think things couldn’t possibly get worse- they do.

Things go from absolute nightmare to downright deadly in this book. So many secrets are revealed. So many lives were ruined. And suddenly, there is so much to live for.

The way this one ends will leave you begging for the next book… hopefully, we don’t have to wait too long. Terrifyingly intense, brutally dramatic, and wonderfully true to what we have done to expect from Tom Grant, nothing about this book disappoints.
