I purchased this on Audible.
Tarryn Fisher is the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author of ten novels. Born a sun hater, she currently makes her home in Seattle, Washington, with her children, husband, and psychotic husky. Tarryn writes about villains.

“Clarity bleeding through my numb denial.”
Senna is a reclusive novelist who lives on the outskirts of normal, and that is how she likes it. When something tragic happens to her, that brings Isaac into her life. Isaac is music with words, sunshine, and kindness without expectation. Senna is angry. She has darkness inside her, and that suits her fine. When Senna wakes up in an unfamiliar place, the last person she expects to find with her is Isaac… yet he’s there—keeping her alive, again. But this time, the clock is ticking, and not even Isaac can slow the hands of time.
Wow. This was an emotionally heavy novel. But it was so beautifully written. Tarryn Fisher has such a gift for her ability to tell a story with such flawed characters. The journey they take, leading them to self-discovery and closure it brilliant.
Senna is such a complicated, complex, profoundly dynamic character. She is so incredibly flawed. But the journey she takes throughout this book is incredible—the highest of highs and the lowest of lows.
Something I love about Tarryn’s writing is she isn’t afraid to be raw, ugly, or vulnerable. She takes us to places we have never been, and it isn’t always sunshine and rainbows.
This story was brutal, beautiful, and sad. I was riveted from the first chapter. The twist and reveal are shocking, but the comedown is also jarring.
If you’re looking for a story that will rock you emotionally and somehow make you feel like you have learned a valuable lesson about life- this is the book for you.
