I received a copy of this book from Kiersten Modglin in exchange for an honest review.

Kiersten Modglin is an Amazon Top 30 bestselling author of award-winning psychological suspense novels and a member of International Thriller Writers. Kiersten lives in Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband, daughter, and two Boston Terriers: Cedric and Georgie. She is best known for her unpredictable suspense, and her readers have dubbed her ‘The Queen of Twists.’ A Netflix addict, Shonda Rhimes superfan, psychology fanatic, and indoor enthusiast, Kiersten enjoys rainy days spent with her nose in a book.

“Maybe my plan would work out after all.”

Ainsley and Peter are going through a rough patch with their marriage. And to get things back on track, Ainsley has a rather unconventional suggestion… a simple arrangement that would benefit both Peter and herself. No one would get hurt. There would be no secrets. There would be rules. It would all be simple, clean, and straightforward until it wasn’t.

Holy crap. I devoured this book in hours. Once I started, I couldn’t put it down if I wanted to. From the quote in the very beginning to the very last line, this is a twisted ride. There are so many unpredictable moments that I am still processing.

The first big twist took me by complete surprise. And from there, things just spiraled and unraveled until I felt utterly exhausted and could only stare at the words on the page.

This story is so well done. Which is something Kiersten is known for. Her characters are always so dynamically developed, and their stories are so carefully and thoughtfully created. And the way Kiersten can weave the smallest details into the scene is bananas.

This book grabbed me from page one and didn’t let me go until I finished the book. Nothing about this story is routine. There is no predicting the twists and turns. This story will have you on the edge of your seat in shock, in anticipation, and absolute terror.

This may be my all-time favorite Kiersten Modglin novel to date. Everything is so well calculated and so beautifully timed. I did not see any of the twists coming. You elevated my heart rate, Kiersten!

What I would love to see moving forward is Glennon and Seth’s story—but running along a similar timeline as Ainsley and Peter’s timeline. Because I think that could be an equally twisted tale.

I couldn’t read this fast enough. And now that I’m finished, and I’ve (kind of) processed, I can feel the book hangover starting. This book was an excellent reason to forego sleep. I need everyone to read this book so that we can talk about it.
